Year-end Event
We warmly invite you to our club's year-end event, which this time will be held in Dobogókő to mark the end of our 30th jubilee year and to commemorate the very first meeting in the club's history. Unfortunately, the original venue, the Nimród Hotel, is no longer operating, so we have chosen the nearby 4-star Cardoner Hotel and Conference Center.
Date of the year-end event: Saturday, December 5, 2026
The Program:
• 15:00 Meeting in the first-floor event room
• 16:00 Santa Claus (for children under 12)
• 16:10 Speeches and presentation of awards
• 16:30 We welcome your feedback and suggestions regarding issues affecting the club
• 17:00 Surprise guest
• 17:30 Casual conversation, music, and dancing
• 20:00 Closing (this is only the end of the "official" event; conversations, joint activities, and wellness can continue in the bar for those who have booked a room)
Snacks and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided in the room (sandwiches, pastries, fruits, mineral water, soft drinks, flavored waters, coffee, tea), but additional non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages can be purchased at your own expense at the ground-floor bar.
(Please note that the complimentary coffee will only be available between 15:00 and 15:30; after that, it can be purchased at the bar.)
We encourage everyone to book a room and stay overnight, as we are planning a nice walk/hike along the nearby tourist trails the next day, Sunday, possibly ending with a lunch together (we welcome restaurant recommendations).

Participation Fee:
• 9,000 HUF/person (payable only for those over 14 years old)
• This includes the room rental, snacks and drinks hospitality, and parking.

Accommodation (to be arranged individually directly with the hotel):
The hotel's special offer for club event participants:
• Classic double room for 1 person: instead of 63,720 HUF / room / night, it is 54,000 HUF / room / night
• Classic double room for 2 people: instead of 70,800 HUF / room / night, it is 62,000 HUF / room / night
The accommodation fee includes:
• Accommodation, buffet breakfast, buffet dinner
• Unlimited Wi-Fi usage
• Use of the recreation area (08:00–20:00)
• 5% VAT
The tourist tax is payable separately, which is 400 HUF/person/night for adults over 18. The parking fee is also separate (2,000 HUF/car/night), however, those who book a room do not have to pay this, as it is already included in the event's participation fee. If they try to charge you for it, please indicate that you do not need to pay it!
Room reservations can be made via email at sales@cardoner.hu, addressed to Kinga Koledits. Please mention that you are booking in connection with the Jaguar Club event!
This way, you can arrange a flexible booking that can be canceled. They can provide a custom offer for triple or quadruple rooms based on the children's ages. (The hotel is dog-friendly; a dog welcome drink and food/drink amenities are also provided 😀)
HOWEVER, you can also book a room through the hotel's website or other booking portals, where even better prices are often available. For example, on the hotel's website, with loyalty discounts (available via a simple registration) and mobile discounts for non-refundable bookings, or under the "55+ senior" discount scheme, you can get a room for around 50,000 HUF per night (for 2 people with half board).
